Holly L. Schoenborn
Workers’ Compensation Attorney
No one is prepared to get hurt at work. Dealing with a physical injury, loss of income, and other complications can be overwhelming. I have spent the bulk of my legal career assisting working families. I understand the difficulties that workers face when they suffer an on-the-job injury. I am committed to helping my clients navigate the complexities of a Workers’ Compensation case and obtaining the best possible outcome for each individual client.
I am a proud life-long resident of Western New York. My father worked as a technician doing cash register and ATM/computer service and repair. My mother managed a doctor’s office. Money was tight when I was growing up. I can still remember, when I was ten years old, my parents’ pride when they were able to purchase their first home. Now, as a mother myself, I have a full appreciation for how hard my parents worked to provide for us. My sister and I were the first generation in our family to graduate from college.
Not long after law school I began practicing in the area of Workers’ Compensation Law. At first I represented both injured workers and insurance companies. Working on both sides of the table gave me great experience, but I found working for clients who had been affected by workplace injuries to be the most fulfilling, so I switched to representing injured workers exclusively. Now, I use the experience I gained representing insurance companies to better serve my clients.
In 2013, I joined Dolce Panepinto. The interplay between Personal Injury law, Workers’ Compensation, Unemployment, and Social Security Disability can be extremely complicated.
