Phillip V. Urban
Social Security Disability Attorney
I was born in Buffalo’s historic Black Rock neighborhood, and learned the value of hard work from my mother, a piano teacher. I graduated with honors from the University at Buffalo’s Media Studies Department in 2003. While in school, I worked as a campaign organizer with the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG), where I helped to enact environmental and consumer rights legislation, including the “Bigger Better Bottle Bill.” After graduation, I worked as a campaign organizer with the Upstate New York Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
While attending the University at Buffalo Law School, I served as an editor on the Buffalo Law Review, and as an associate with the UB Law Affordable Housing Clinic. During my time with the clinic, I worked with community-based organizations to create high-quality, affordable housing.
After graduating with honors from UB Law School, I joined Dolce Panepinto in order to help workers and their families. My areas of practice include real estate, civil litigation, and Social Security Disability claims.
